The Mars Volta. A major favorite of mine the summer before I came to Minnesota. I saw them play at the now defunct Quest. The most intense live show I've ever seen. The lead singer climbed up the side of the stage on some scaffolding-like stuff. Wild. Good prep for my first year of college - wild and intense.
